The heavy sinking minnow can gain an overwhelming casting distance from their own weight, but the swimming action can be poor and only noticeable with the fast retrieve. But the G-control generates lift by the second lip in the center of the belly of the lure, this creates resistance and cancels out the sinking force which dramatically improves the response and action with low-speed retrieves. Even though it only weighs 20 grams, you can retrieve it at the retrieve speed of a 10 grams class sinking minnow.
