This hat is designed with a focus on sun protection and breathability. The chin strap is detachable with a pocket on the inside of the crown of the hat, allowing you to fold and compactly store the hat. If you no longer need the sunshade during use, you can remove it and store it in the packable pocket. The hanging belt loop also functions as a sunglass holder.
